CPD – Continuing Professional Development

CPD involves the maintenance and enhancement of competence levels.

The Regulator, quite justifiably, is very keen to be reassured that firms take reasonable steps to ensure that all their personnel, especially those holding Senior Manager and Certification functions , are taking reasonable steps to maintain and enhance their competence. Part of our service to our clients is that we supply monthly news notes which combine useful regulatory and technical information with updates from the different industry regulators. These notes are accompanied by a multi- question test. The test provides evidence of outside sourced CPD which has been measured. Haven also provides training presentations and competence testing along with corresponding CPD certificates. This CPD is, of course, only a small part of the overall CPD which an individual should undertake, but we can help to point you in the right direction to learning appropriate to your particular skills and authorisations

These CPD notes are available to firms and individuals who do not wish to take up our wider compliance support but there is a monthly charge for these news notes if you wish to subscribe to them.
